TAG ASSIGNMENT
New tags can be assigned within the RFID program under the Admin section using the Tag Assignment Module
To begin assigning tags, select the Location the new tags should be assigned to:
Select a Printer and the Item Number the new tags will be assigned to:
Ensure “Read Scan” is selected next to the assignment method button on the right.
Scan the QR code or barcode of each Tag you want to assign.
When done scanning all the tags you want to associate with this item, click the “Upload Tags” button:
The tags will populate into the Admin :: Tag Assign section. Review and check-mark the tags you want to associate and click the “Assign Tags” button to complete the assignment process:
If any errors occur you will see the details of the error at the top of the page in red. If everything is matched up successfully you’ll receive a success message in green indicating your tags are now assigned:
TAG EDIT
Existing tags can be edited or deleted from the RFID program using the Tag Edit Module under Admin section of the program. By default, all tags currently assigned to any location will appear in the Tag Edit module. The tag listing can be downloaded to a CSV or PDF file via the “Download” button at the top of the page.
To view tags assigned to a specific location, select the appropriate warehouse from the Location drop-down. This will filter the list of tags under the Tag Edit section to only display tags assigned to the currently selected location:
To find a specific tag, use the Search box scan or type in the Tag ID. This will filter the list of tags to display only the Tag ID you entered. If you have a tag that has fallen off of an item, or you don’t know what item the tag is currently associated with, you can see here what Item Number this tag is assigned to, along with the serial number (if assigned), the date and time the tag was assigned, and the warehouse location the tag is assigned to.
If you need to reassign the tag to a different item, or if you want to remove a tag that is damaged or no longer in use, you can Delete the tag under the “Tag Actions” section.
If any errors occur you will see the details of the error at the top of the page in red. If the tag is removed successfully you’ll receive a success message in green indicating your tag has been successfully deleted.
POLEVAULT CYCLE COUNT
To count all of your tagged items use the PoleVault function within MOBILETrak RFID. Before performing a count, make sure to select the warehouse location, or leave selected to ALL to see a count of all the items assigned to all warehouse locations.
Ensure the counting method selected is Scan Beacon.
Press the Scan Beacon button to trigger the count. You will see a loading icon while the count information is gathered from all the RFID aggregators.
After a few moments, you’ll receive a success message in green indicating your tags were successfully read. If any errors occur you will see the details of the error at the top of the page in red. You will also see the Items that were found in the count and the current quantities counted.
Variances can be seen between the “On Hand” count (the result of scanning the beacons) and the “System Count” (the current on-hand quantity existing in your ERP system).
Counts can be archived for later reference by selecting the Archive option. Additionally, the count can be submitted to your ERP by selecting the Submit + Archive option.
Archived counts can be accessed from the Reports menu by selecting Archived Count History. Select the date you wish to view, then select a count.
The count will appear on the screen and can be downloaded by selecting the CSV or PDF from the export options on the left.
