3 Takeaways from TISE 2024
We had a great experience attending The International Surface Event (TISE) : SURFACES | StonExpo | Tile Expo this week. It was a great opportunity to see some familiar faces and make new friends. We wanted to take a moment upon returning from the event to share some of our takeaways!
1.) Strategic Partnerships Drive Success 🤝
Collaborations and partnerships were highlighted as essential tools for business growth and new innovations. We noticed and were a part of many instances of this, showcased through conversations about ideas for mutual growth opportunities, new or expanded market access and most importantly, the added value to the end user/consumer through the sharing of years of industry expertise and experience.
2.) Digital Transformation is Imperative 📈
We noticed a large presence of software providers with emphasis on the necessity for Flooring Distributors to undergo digital transformation, utilizing ERP packaged modules for financials and inventory transactions to improve efficiency and operational success. We benefited from hearing discussions where warehouses effectively implemented a cloud-based ERP to enhance efficiency, customer experience, and overall business performance.
3.) The Expertise Runs Deep 🧠
The event successfully blended a sense of community with a wealth of expertise. Attendees and exhibitors, representing a diverse array of industry channels and niches, seamlessly connected to create an environment of collaboration and knowledge transfer. The event stood out as a dynamic platform where participants, amidst structured panel sessions, presentations and informal networking, shared insights and collectively contributed to the broader intelligence of the Surfaces community.
