RFID V2 in Action at ED3

We're very excited to see our newest initiative in action! 👏

Our long-time customers and good friends at Electrical District Number 3 (ED3) in Maricopa, Arizona are now fully equipped with the latest iteration of MOBILETrak RFID for Meridian Cooperative UPN.

Comprehensive Site Survey

Over the past few days, we’ve been traveling between Phoenix and Maricopa to work closely with the ED3 team. We conducted a thorough site survey of their yard and assets, identifying optimal placements for our Sensata Technologies XT4964 Aggregate Readers.

Our goal was to ensure robust and redundant read coverage. By pairing these readers with BLE beacons, pre-assigned by beacon MAC address and asset part number, our MOBILETrak RFID interface is now delivering live, comprehensive counts from their yard. This setup provides real-time variance information, showing both on-hand quantities counted by our readers and UPN system count data.

Thanks to our innovative hardware partnerships and dedicated internal development team, the future looks bright with the enhanced capabilities now available to ED3.
